Inside the Horizon Engine

How we predict crypto prices

Four stages, in this order: the data comes in, the market is read, the model learns, the forecast comes out. Every stage has to hand the next one something checkable.

01

Collect the data

Daily candles from four verified exchanges — back to 2011 for Bitcoin — plus a market snapshot every five minutes.

Idempotent by construction: a rerun never duplicates a bar.

02

Read the market

Cycle position and halving phase feed the Bitcoin model; volatility, drawdown, market breadth and an altseason score are tracked as well, and RSS headlines are matched to the coins they actually name.

Recomputed for every closed day, back to the first bar we hold.

03

The Horizon algorithm

Statistical models refitted from scratch on every run: power-law support and a halving cycle whose swings shrink, for Bitcoin; every other coin as a ratio to it.

Nothing enters the model that we cannot reproduce from our own database.

04

The prediction

A price band with a coverage level, at quarterly resolution, and, for every coin with research, a confidence score — measured at the nearest horizons, declared beyond. Never a single number.

Every forecast that reaches its horizon is scored against what the price actually did, and that can only lower the published confidence.

Track record

How we check our crypto predictions

Every forecast is stored with the day it was made. When its horizon arrives, it is graded against the price that actually happened: inside the published band, or outside it. The grades add up to a measured coverage for each horizon, and they can only ever lower the confidence we show — never raise it. Until enough grades exist, we publish no accuracy figure at all.

The first horizons of the current forecasts come due on 1 February 2027.

How forecasts are graded Who publishes these forecasts

Inside the engine

From conviction to discipline.

See how StakeBible turns forecasts into a structured plan, with reminders on the days you choose.

1 Why the platform exists

Discipline, not impulse.

Crypto money gets committed on impulse.

  • Research comes last

    The decision is made first.

  • Position size follows mood

The amount grows with excitement rather than evidence.

  • Headlines arrive after the move

A coin makes the news after the move, not before it.

  • No exit written down

An entry without a horizon becomes a hold by default.

2 From forecast to plan

Established methods, calculated for you.

A forecast does not tell you how much to commit, or when. The engine turns yours into an investment plan.

  • Scheduled stakes (DCA)

The same stake every month, whatever the price does.

  • AI value averaging

Your monthly stake, pointed at the coins sitting deepest below the predicted path.

  • Cycle ladder

An email when a coin in your plan closes at a new all-time high or low.

  • Email reminders and alerts

DCA: a reminder on your stake day. Ladder: the all-time highs and lows of the coins in your plan.

Build my plan
3 Plain terms

The Horizon Engine, explained.

A chain of checks between the raw data and a published range — never a single number.

  • Backtested to the core

History stops being history: the model is refit from scratch on every run, into a price band at quarterly resolution.

  • Grounded, not opinionated

Grounded search adds only what has no free API: the macro backdrop, and a per-coin trust rating.

  • Re-read when the news names it

News scanning matches a headline only to the coins it genuinely names, then queues those coins for a targeted re-read.

  • Confidence, not certainty

Every forecast that reaches its horizon is scored against what the price actually did.

Frequently Asked Questions About Crypto Predictions

What will crypto be worth in 2030?
Our base case for 2030: Bitcoin at $233,571, inside a $105,708–$545,751 range, and Ethereum at $9,102, inside $2,789–$29,712. Most other coins are forecast to lose ground against Bitcoin, because that is what the measured universe of altcoins has done: between the 2021 and 2025 peaks, only 3.5% of them gained on it. Every coin we forecast has its own band, year by year, on its page.
How does StakeBible create crypto predictions?
In layers. Bitcoin sets the clock: its cycle position, halving phase, volatility and drawdown all come from our own daily price history. Ethereum is modelled as a ratio to Bitcoin that pulls back towards its mean. Every other coin is also a ratio to Bitcoin. A few large coins have their own measured layer: for some, the ratio is held where it is today; for others, it is lowered at a declared pace, the average at which the largest coins of past cycles lost ground to Bitcoin. For the rest, the ratio drifts down, because that is what the measured universe of altcoins has done against Bitcoin. Research on the project can keep a coin out and caps our confidence in it; it never moves the price. Nothing is published that we cannot reproduce from our own database.
Can AI predict crypto prices?
Not to a single number, and we do not claim otherwise. What a model can do is put a range around a future price and then be held to it. Every forecast we publish is a band, and every band that reaches its horizon is scored against what actually happened. That score can only lower our confidence — never raise it.
How accurate are crypto price predictions?
Most crypto price predictions are a single number that nobody checks afterwards. Ours are graded: when a forecast reaches its horizon, we record whether the real price landed inside the band we published, and the grades add up to a measured coverage per horizon. The first horizons expire three months after a forecast is made; until enough grades exist we publish no accuracy figure, and the grades can only ever lower the confidence shown.
Why are there no crypto predictions for today or this week?
Because a daily call is a coin flip we could not grade honestly. Our horizons run quarter by quarter, from three months to ten years: long enough for a model built on price cycles to say something, and each one is scored when it arrives. For where a coin trades right now, see our live crypto prices.
Are these crypto predictions free?
5 assets are free forever, all years included. Pro opens every other covered asset, plus investment plans with email alerts on every DCA or ladder plan.
